VANCOUVER, BC, Aug. 14, 2026 /CNW/ -- A disciplinary hearing in the matter of Haimeng Wang (the Respondent), originally scheduled before a hearing panel of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) pursuant to the Mutual Fund Dealer Rules for August 18-20, 2026 has been converted to a one-day sanctions hearing to be held on August 19, 2026.
The hearing panel will determine the appropriate sanctions based on an Agreed Statement of Facts entered into by CIRO Enforcement Staff and the Respondent.
The hearing is open to the public unless the hearing panel orders otherwise. The decision of the hearing panel will be made available at www.ciro.ca.

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (by videoconference)

The hearing concerns allegations that the Respondent:
(a) accessed a client's bank accounts and transferred the client's monies to herself and other individuals, thereby engaging in personal financial dealings with a client; and
(b) failed to cooperate with an investigation into her conduct by CIRO Staff.

The alleged violations occurred while the Respondent was registered as a Dealing Representative with TD Investment Services Inc. in the Surrey, British Columbia area. The Respondent is not currently registered in the securities industry in any capacity.
