MONTRÉAL, April 16, 2026 /CNW/ - An initial appearance has been scheduled before a hearing panel of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) pursuant to the Investment Dealer and Partially Consolidated Rules in the matter of Milan Sharma.

The hearing is open to the public unless the panel orders otherwise. The decision of the hearing panel will be made available at www.ciro.ca.  

Initial Appearance Date:     June 12, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Time)

The hearing concerns allegations that Milan Sharma failed to act as a gatekeeper in relation to the trading activity in Over-the-Counter (OTC) securities by some of his clients.

The alleged violations occurred while Milan Sharma was a Registered Dealing Representative at BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. in the Montréal, Quebec area. Milan Sharma is currently not registered in the securities industry in any capacity.
